2017-18 UPK & KIndergarten Registration Going on Now

Any child who will be 4 years old on or before December 1, 2017 and is a resident of the Kendall Central School District is eligible to enroll in Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) for the 2017-18 school year. Eligible dates of birth are between December 2, 2012 and December 1, 2013.

The Kendall UPK program is held five days per week. The UPK program follows the school district’s calendar and adheres to the district’s Board of Education student attendance policy. The morning session is held from 8:40-11:30 a.m. and the afternoon session is held from 12:50-3:30 p.m. Because of strict NYS Department of Transportation requirements, the district will not be able to provide transportation for a child enrolled in the Kendall UPK program until the child is 4 years of age. Requests for an AM or PM slot cannot be honored because this is determined by your location east or west of Kendall Road. You are welcome to transport your child on your own.

We have established a collaborative partnership with Head Start of Orleans County. The Head Start program is held at Kendall Elementary five days per week, following the district calendar and providing transportation for students. The main difference is the Head Start program is held Mondays through Thursdays from 11:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and on Fridays from 11:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
